Prafulla Wani is a big data engineer with experience in Hadoop/NoSQL based solutions as well traditional data-warehouse implementations using relational databases and ETL tools. With more than 12 years of IT experience, he is currently playing role of Technical Specialist – Big Data at Microsoft, guiding various customers across India on their Big Data journey. Prior to Microsoft, Prafulla held solution architect and consulting roles for Big Data Analytics practice at Syntel and Infosys. He holds an Engineering degree in Information Technology apart from certifications in Hadoop, Machine Learning and Design Thinking. Given his deep technical knowledge and recognized authority in this domain, he has helped several customers successfully adopt and implement Big Data Technologies. He is also a regular speaker at various industry events, including Hadoop Summit 2014 in San Jose.
