sql trace flag 1260

Hi Friends,

This is my 21st blog on SQL Server Trace Flag 1260 in the series of One Trace Flag a Day. You can go to all blogs under that series by clicking here.

In my previous blog post, we have seen the use of trace flag 1262. Trace flag 1262 will be used to collect the mini dump for each occurrence of 17883 errors. You can go to that blog post by clicking here.

If you do not want to collect the mini dump during the occurrence of 17883 like errors then you can use the trace flag 1260. This trace flag will disable the collection of mini dump during 17883 errors.

PS: Do not use trace flags in production environment without testing it on non production environments and without consulting because everything comes at a cost.

HAPPY LEARNING!
