WE ARE SUPER EXCITED! WOW!
By the way, what is SQL/Azure CAT Team?
The Microsoft SQL Server Customer Advisory Team (SQLCAT) is part of the product development organization based in Redmond, WA. The goal of the team is to engage on the most interesting and challenging SQL Server (on premise or Azure VMs) and Azure SQL DB customer projects. Typically these engagements are focused on new versions or feature releases targeting SQL Server and Azure SQL DB technologies and therefore most engagements are through early adoption previews or TAP programs. Through these engagements we learn and gain experience with these real-world workloads and the SQL Server relational database products. We then use these learnings to improve the product as well as share with the community so everyone can build any application, regardless of size and complexity, successfully on the Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL DB platforms.
