Dear SQL Geeks,
Brace yourself as we announce the next speaker of SSGAS 2016!
Join me in welcoming the DevOps and Database Lifecycle Management Expert from Red Gate!
Alex Yates
Please join me in welcoming Alex Yates to the second edition of Asia’s largest SQL Conference, the one who needs no introduction in the SQL world, yet I want to take the privilege of introducing him to the SQL community in Asia!
Alex Yates is an experienced DevOps and Pre-Sales Engineer who has worked with SQL Server at Red Gate since 2010. In that time, he has worked with hundreds of companies across six continents to help them with Database Lifecycle Management (DLM) issues. For example, he helped Skyscanner to set up the single click deployment of over 300 SQL Server databases across 4 data centers and he worked with the 100+ person team at Farm Credit Services of America to standardize SQL Server source control and delivery processes, allowing both companies to deliver software significantly more quickly and reliably.
Recently Alex has been writing and delivering DLM training courses in Europe and working with Red Gate partners to deliver the training around the world. Since March 2014 Alex has created www.workingwithdevs.com where he blogs DLM tutorials, best practice, organizational culture and opinion pieces and he has also become a regular speaker in Europe and North America at events such as Live360, BASTA!, NDC Oslo, SQL in the City and a bunch of SQL Saturdays and SQL Relays.
However, SQL Server Geeks is his first conference in India and we promise to make his experience wonderful. He will be a rock star speaker at the second edition of the Asia’s Largest SQL Conference.
Alex will be delivering a couple of breakout sessions at SQLServerGeeks Annual Summit 2016 in Dev and DBA track. Alex is equally excited to be part of Asia’s largest SQL conference.
Simply put, what a privilege to continue announcing SQL rockstars for SSGAS 2016. This is just the beginning to the battery of power-packed speakers we are bringing to the SQL community in Asia.
What does it mean for you? This is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear him, meet him and learn from the expert!
