SQL Server: SSMS Tips – Startup Options

Hi All

Here is the another tip for SSMS.

When you open the SSMS, by default it will open the Object Explorer. You can change that into your preferred startup option from the available list.

To change default Startup configuration for SSMS Go to Tools Menu -> Options. Select Environment from left hand side tree and expand then select General.

Select your prefered configuration from the At startup list and click ok.

To reflect the startup option you selected, close the SSMS and re-open again.
